New first-class learning space

We are pleased to announce that the Hartley Library Level 3 Refurbishment Project has been completed.  Over the course of 5 weeks, from mid-September to mid-October, the area at the front of Level 3 has been transformed to a first-class learning space from which all Hartley Library users can benefit.

The refurbishment provides new styles of spaces for concentrated individual study, areas of informal seating, spaces for group study, furnished in a range of vibrant colours.  71 new study spaces have been created in the Hartley Library, all of which will be equipped with desktop electric sockets or USB chargers. Group study areas include large screens, ideal for project work and presentation preparations.

The Wi-Fi service in the Hartley Library has been recently upgraded, making it even easier for you to access electronic resources from your own phone, tablet or laptop, wherever you are in the Library.

We hope that you are delighted with the new space – let us know your thoughts.
