It’s Open Access Week, which is a good time to remind you of the Open Access activities we do all year round.
We have library web pages which will give you some background on what Open Access is, why you might like to do it and also how to go about making your work Open Access.
The Library offers general training sessions on Open Access, as well as support to make your thesis and your research data available electronically through our institutional repository ePrints Soton. You can book for these via Staffbook or Gradbook, or if you’d like a tailored session for you and your colleagues, please email us to arrange this at email@example.com
A couple of us are involved in a Jisc project to try and simplify the process of making resources Open Access. You can read all about our project here: http://e2eoa.org/
And don’t forget, if you’d like to access our academics’ research outputs, you can do this through ePrints Soton.
If you have any queries, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
