Shipwrecks MOOC goes live on Monday

Monday sees the launch of our newest MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) and the good news is is that there is still time to sign up.  The course is called “Shipwrecks and Submerged Worlds: Maritime Archaeology” and is completely free.  The course lasts 4 weeks and is the result of an enormous amount of hard work by the Archaeology Department at Southampton and the FutureLearn team.  If you are interested then take a look at their blog for more information and a link to registration:

These are created by academics from many Universities and learned institutions including Southampton, and whilst the majority of them are on specific subjects such as Shipwrecks, there are also courses which will support your present academic study such as the one we started running mid-September on Developing your Research Project.
