Easter will soon be upon us and hopefully there will be a lot of chocolate coming our way – a wonderful aid to concentration! If you are intending to use those powers of concentration for working in the Library over Easter, please make sure you check our Opening Times before you set off. We are closed for four days – Friday April 18th until Monday April 21st inclusive. Hartley Library also closes at 6pm instead of midnight on the Wednesday and Thursday before this. Thankfully, with all our electronic resources these days, the closure is not the problem it could have been in the past. You will need to make sure you have the books you need, and you may need to source a quiet study space for the weekend (unless you plan to be fully occupied eating chocolate as I do) but you will still have access wherever you are to all our e-books, digitised articles, e-journals, databases and online exam papers. To access these from off campus, you will need to set up a vpn link. You can do this quickly and easily if you have not done so already, by going to:
where you will find step by step instructions depending on the interface you use.
Have a very Happy Easter, and watch this space later this week for news about our opening hours for next term!
