Are you library minded? Interested in contributing to the wider benefit of the University and with a little bit of time to spare?
We are looking for some enthusiastic and committed volunteers – you will be a student who is confident online, used to social media. You should be an effective team member and face-to-face communicator, willing to contribute to our successful Student Communications Group.
Student and library staff members of the Group meet weekly, on a Wednesday afternoon. We work to enhance communications between students and the Library, and to create a more effective rapport between the Library and its users.
We created the “Check it out before you check it out” campaign and were instrumental in launching this Library Blog.
If you are a regular University Library user, have some ideas about which services and resources you would like to see improved or changed, and ways in which we might do this, then please get in touch. For details on how to apply see the Project Brief.
For more information then please send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org (Debra Morris, Hartley Library).
