Settling in

Now that the days are growing darker and Christmas (and exams) loom, we hope that all our new students have now found their feet and are beginning to feel settled.  For the majority of students, this will be true, but there may be a few who are struggling.  If so, it is important that you feel you can get help.  We are always happy to help you in the Library of course, but did you know there are many other people around whose priority it is to make you happier?  Next door to Hartley Library there is the Student Services building where you can find IT help, but also advice on many practical matters.  The University also has an Advice Centre, a Counselling Service and a Nightline.  Support is also given in your Faculty and may often be a first port of call.  The important thing is that you are aware that help is there should you need it.  And of course, if we can help in any way, just ask or use our Feedback system. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Live Chat and all over the Library.
