Vine video from UCLA Powell Library

Many academic libraries are embracing video to show the world what they look like, what facilities they offer and what benefits they can bring. They are following the trend in online video available online; with over 48 hours of video being uploaded to YouTube every minute. It is predicted that over 90% Of All Internet Traffic Will Be Video In The Next Three Years

We have our own channel of YouTube where our other videos are located http://www.youtube.com/user/UniSotonLibrary and I am sure the 10 videos that are there will grow and grow as we embrace this technology but do we go glossy, corporate and 6 months in the making or do we embrace the world of “vine” (6 second videos) or the One minute videos used to great effect by Bournemouth University?
